After many, many years, my family went to Mirror Lake for Labor day. It used to be one of our favorite vacation spots. My parents were in town from Wisconsin and with the lack of mountains out there, they wanted to get back to nature and enjoy the scenery. My kids have never been there, (poor, deprived children) so we took them. We bought a cheap little three man boat and enjoyed a picnic of KFC and a day on the lake. We only took one adult life jacket so we had to improvise and hook two kids ones together so two adults could go out. It looked to silly, but it worked.

the lake and just sat there. It was so peaceful! What a relief from the busy life we lead. Ah, the memories!
