Happy Birthday Hillary!

11 years ago, on a cold winter Saturday, much like this one, a little angel decided to enter the world and join our family. Hillary was a miserable delivery, but worth all the effort and pain. She was a sweet baby from day 1 and is still my sweet girl, just a little taller now.

My favorite things about Hillary:
1-She is an amazing big sister to her siblings
2-She loves her family
3-She loves her friends and never gives up on them
4-She has a strong testimony and an understanding of who she is
5-She shows a lot of initiative (she was chosen as a student who showed initiative at school and she didn't know what that meant until today!)
6-She is so willing to help out around the house, sometimes even without complaining
7-She loves to learn new things-right now it's learning to crochet
8-Her pretty face that just gets prettier by the day
9-Her talents. She has many, but I love to listen to her play the piano. Someday she'll take up the cello or violin (at least I would love that!)
10-She loves music of all sorts. She loves to sing and loves being a part of the school chorus group
11-Her love of all things beautiful. Sometimes she has to remind me that the world is a beautiful place and she only adds to it.

We love Hillary and can't imagine our family without her. She's just growing up way too fast for me. I'm not ready for her to be 11. She reminds me that I could be a grandma in 10 more years. Yikes! Let's just stay little as long as possible, huh???
