Today we spent about 4 hours at the hospital with Whitney. 6 months ago, she had a tube put in her eye to help unclog her tear duct and today they removed the tube. She did great with it. Before they took her for surgery, the nurse gave her something to help her relax. It made her pretty loopy! She leaned way over and was looking at the floor. When I asked what she was doing, she said, "I'm just looking under there." Then she could hardly get back up. She tried to color with a crayon but could hardly hold onto it so she finally gave up and just watched tv. She got so relaxed she couldn't even keep her tongue in her mouth. The surgery took all of 2 minutes and it was another 15 minutes before they brought her back to me, then we had to wait another 20 minutes before we could go home. She was so good though. Hopefully now her tears will drain and she won't be seeing through water all the time. Glad that one's over!

Poor girl! At least she's young enough she won't remember it too much when she get's older!
