Happy Halloween!

Halloween was really fun for us this year. The kids always have a hard time deciding what to be. It was going to be a Despicable Me year (thanks to a friend mentioning it for her girls), but in the end, the kids all wanted to be something totally unrelated. Hillary planned on a hippie and I just had to come up with a costume. So, we hit the DI and found this beautiful ensemble for $19, killer boots included! She had a hard time walking in them at first, but she made it through a few parties and trick or treating in them.
Carter couldn't make up his mind this year. First he wanted a costume from Tron:Legacy because he wanted they cool frisbee looking disc. Not paying the price to have a frisbee. So he followed his cousins lead and was Eugene Fitzherbert for one night, then found this scary ninja suit for trick or treating and school party.
Whitney pretty much knew she wanted to be a vampire and I even had a costume that would work. However, she was disappointed when it became more of a spider witch instead, but it worked out ok for her. By Halloween night she was good with it.
Kemery got a Rapunzel dress for her birthday that doubled as her costume. However, we lost it somewhere in the house and luckily found it the night before Halloween buried under the toy boxes in her room. At first, she wasn't going to wear the wig because it had a brown streak in it, just like in the movie Tangled. She finally got over that and wore it for Trick or Treating.
My sister has someone in her ward that does this big carnival in their front yard each year and she invited us to go with them. It was a lot of fun with games, a haunted house, and treats. Not a bad deal! We also had my other neice and nephew for the night. It was a great time!

Kemery and my nieces Kaylee and Hailee were all Rapunzel

My sister Cindy as Mother Gothel (I'm a party pooper and didn't dress up)

Halloween morning, the kids were out of school so we decided to make pumpkin pancakes. That's about as creative as I get.
